Komlan Sedzro, Ph. D., Dean of ESG UQAM, has been a professor in the Department of Finance since 1997. Throughout his career, he has led several graduate programs, including the Master of Science in Applied Finance (MSc), the Graduate Diploma in Finance, the Graduate Diploma in Derivatives — developed in partnership with the Montréal Exchange — as well as the MBA in Financial Services. He has also served as Director of the PhD Program in Administration and of the Department of Finance.

A recognized expert in finance, he has also led the research activities of the RBC Chair in Financial Services Management. He holds a master’s degree in business economics from Université Clermont Auvergne (formerly Université de Clermont 1) in France and a PhD in Business Administration (Finance and Insurance) from Université Laval. He brings his expertise and leadership to advancing ESG UQAM’s mission and supporting its community.
